GoPro13 kayaking footages, heavily color graded!
If the M1 Pro is too much $$, GoPro13 is still amazing! Exposed to salt water every week since the thing came out. Not a single scratch and no deteriorations. It'll be use together with the M1 Pro for multi angle shots when possible!
There's 2 shots in the video taken with a 10 year old phone so ignore those! They will stand out as very crappy but it was still good enough to add into the overall theme of the video so I had them in. The drone footage is not a GoPro but an HS600.
1080P 960fps and 4k/240fps shots -
Slowed further with Da Vinci Resolved and some slight color corrections.
I don't like the 1080P low quality, the 4k/240fps is nice
GoPro Mission One Pro - Kayaking action 8k/60fps & 4k/120fps footages
GoPro Mission Pro - 8k/60fps, 4k/240fps
All clips at 10-bit color / max data rate. I chose not to record at 1080p/960fps even though the effect is amazing, but the low resolution does not do it for me. I rather take the 4k/240fps and slow that down instead!
Subject is me an avid sea kayaker that loves to go out into the open waters. I am in a Zegul Greenland GT 18ft sea kayak using a Braca XI wing paddle.

This is at (Long Island) Port Jefferson Harbor, NY. The waters here are not blue nor clear underneath. I intentionally removed those shots but will re-shoot clearer under water scenes later in another video.
The 4k/240fps clips were slowed down in video editing between 33% to 50%
Edited the clips in Da Vinci Resolve on an older AMD 5800X CPU with Nvidia 4080 graphics card on 32Gb RAM. Editing in 8k bottlenecked by my 8-core CPU. I had to change the settings to do quarter resolution preview otherwise it was too laggy. Caution here to have amazing crispy 8k videos, make sure you have the hardware to handle. This 3:37min clip is 2.6gbytes uploaded to YouTube. Encoded using format QuikTime/H.265 codec/60fps.

The 1080P/960fps action shots were amazing but the quality at 1080P is not great. The shots at 4k/240fps and then slowed down in Da Vinci looked so much better because of the much higher resolution.
The battery time is excellent. I was out for about 2 hours and shot 49mins of clips at various settings including many 1080P/960fps shots.
I am very happy with the camera's performance compared to my GoPro13. Not happy about the price but its worth it for me because I do so much filming.
