The sad part is Yeat actually still had aura back during the Dangerous Summer Era.

Hear what i'm saying. Yeat had absolutely lost all of his hype and momentum from Lyfestyle and how it didn't perform well. Come around to IM YEAT times and he starts rocking something completely new but still keeps that old sound and swag in his pocket. Instead of wearing a ski mask or turban, he wore a beanie and tank top and jeans. and he was still experimenting but keeping that old Yeat spice to the song. He genuinely did so well executing Dangerous Summer and just bringing a completely new swag that was getting hype and getting what he lost from LS back. We were ALL expecting ADL to be more polished and BETTER than Dangerous Summer but instead it was what a lot of people are calling mainstream slop. The fits he's rocking for ADL just seem so basic and just generic. In the put it ong video he genuinely had so much aura when all he was doing was riding a rollercoaster and moving but in the music video of 'naked' he's just moving on top of another girls ass. Like do we not see a downgrade here?

i don't get the concept of Yeat showing samples as features

Builds so much unnecessary hype *cough cough Elton John* and it's just very misleading because we thought both Elton and Superheaven were gonna be actual verses

It's not even a debate Alive has a lot of good songs but this one stands out so much from the other ones.

I just realized if he dropped sirious along with LSv1 he could've had a decent shot to have this be in an apple commercial. Instead he has loco faintly playing in the background of a taco bell ad🫩✌️

i'm making this post because it's honestly been ticking me off seeing people trying to forcefully glaze this album like it's genuinely insane. If you're gonna try and glaze this album just get the fuck off reddit and go on tiktok

First, to begin, Lose control, Just, what the fuck is this. It's not new Yeat it's not Old Yeat it's not even Yeat it's just Yeat trying to be something he's not. I played this song in front of my friends and we all agreed that Yeats voice was just so fucking awful and ear piercing and the "Elton John Feature" was disappointing as hell because he only ended up being a sample on the album. You can literally tell Yeat listed Elton in the features article just to build unnecessary hype for the album (hype that he hasn't lived up to btw)

and in general compared to his other albums, with this album his voice is genuinely so fucking ear piercing on songs like griddle and lose control

Next, him barely feeding what his fans wanted. Snippets like diamond dance, loveloveit, jetski, and more SHOULDVE been on the album there is absolutely no fucking excuse on why these snippets didnt make it. We got loveloveit but it got fucking paywalled and some fan had to waste like 12 dollars (for a singular song btw, i'm pretty sure he was selling 2093 p3 for less and more songs) just for the song to be absolutely boring as fuck. He's ruined who knows how many grails now, like wanna be me (which i'm gonna talk about), fate, and this one that i can think off the top of my head.

Im also gonna add that during the album rollout he switches up into this mafia style which felt so last minute and rushed

Now for the sounds of dangerous lyfe and love. For lyfe, Yeat had spent the whole summer to build all this hype back up that he lost from ls creating a new and unique sound and people absolutely enjoyed it and loved it and it was such a step in the right direction if he doesn't want to do percs to make music. Now tell me why that sound just isn't there for A dangerous lyfe it just feels like creating that whole sound was for absolutely nothing

For love, the best i can describe love is just pure slop i genuinely do not know why people try to sit here and glaze ts when this is just such a bloated half of the album. There's tracks that shouldn't even exist in the first place like geek luv and naked and oh my god naked is the worst fucking song i've ever heard it is genuinely the most bland boring shit in the world and with the music video it's just so fucking bad dude

Now, the Nike collab (because this affected the album) Apparently, the Nike collab was the prime reason why this album was released so early and rushed, Yeat definitely wasn't finished with the album but i'm guessing management (cough cough, Bia) pressured him into meeting Nikes deadlines which just really pissed me off

And for the physical copies, Just a fucking mess i bought like two Cds and everything was just fucked up on it just such a waste of money.

also can i just add that the songwriting for both lyfe and love, it's freaky lyric after freaky lyric and just writing that doesn't even make sense half the time

Now for 2Planes aka wanna be me, There is absolutely no fucking excuse that this song had to be made, Wanna be me was already a good enough song in general and the fact that he took extra time to ruin it and make it significantly worse is fucking baffling and unacceptable, i saw a comment a bit ago saying he could've lost the project file for it and honestly if that's true, oh fucking well, if it's lost it's lost don't try to redo it to make it worse. At this point he's just ruining grails and he should just not touch them anymore atp.

Next, features. NONE of these features were fucking memorable any feature was either and intro or outro (grimes & Joji) and every feature like the Cudi feature was just such a boring ass feature even the youngboy feature and i didn't think a youngboy feature can be boring🤦‍♂️

Also, in the interview he said him and cudi made no more ghosts in like 5-10 minutes, yeah we can fucking tell. Most bland feature in his discography.

I'm going to now give some praise to a few songs on the album ones that have stuck with me because I did actually like some songs on the album

Purpose General - A good intro but it was just to confusing with the beat drops on first listen which turned me off of the album but i was still able to keep listening

Liv like dis - Has old Yeat energy but more experimental a lot of the album should've sounded like this

What I want - Wanted diamond hop for years and got it, i'll take it

2Nite - One of the more entertaining songs on the love part of the album i enjoyed this one a lot

Silk Face - I know it's not the average old Yeat song but it's not a bad song and this is one of the songs i can appreciate Yeat for trying new styles

Now for my last bits, Yeat and his management has absolutely no thick skin, they can't tank any type of hate from critics or just general listeners. This is shown with 2093, right after that drops he starts backpedaling to his old sound and when that fails he has to be experimental or different again because after/ during LS 2093 was popping off (iwbr) Since 2024 Yeat has had no thick skin and just fake way to easily to criticism and gets pissed off (ig post after adl dropped) and i'm gonna be honest it's fucked over his career. There's no denying it.

That's all i really got i'm just sick of people forcing this album to grow on them when it's literally just "kanye-inspired" but put through a shredder and dipped into a toilet of piss

Had a free period to write ts 😭✌️
