Hot take : naked is a fun track

While I think it probably should’ve been left off the album and the snippet sounded quite diff it’s still imo a fun song that’s quite upbeat and danceable , good in the car in the sun. The hate comes from the fact it’s not “yeat” which I agree but if we stop comparing for a second I think most people would enjoy a lot more for what it is , a dance/club song

yo just imagine if

we got an album with a mix of songs from early lsv2, 3093 and adlv1, man that would've been such a banger of an album

i was just listening to some snippets like would ya, lets be honest, etc. and that mixed with adlv1 (u could, everywhere, take back, etc.) along with songs like never catch on (early lsv2), i would've been bussin

I find it funny how even Yeat himself is posting his old songs rather any ADL song

Yeat joji etc etc

Im seeing people making videos to back home with the YEAT part not even Joji's part with a caption like "i never thought a yeat song would make me cry" and there are still people saying that the only reason the op cried was because of Joji. Like are people genuinely just dumb or something because you can see them using the yeat part of the song not even mentioning joji so how the fuck would it be the 'joji effect' that made them cry like pls stfu.

This just shows that people can't believe how a yeat song can be good because they really need to find any other fucking reason to make it seem like yeat isn't peak, as if his part wasn't the main part of the song like wtf.

What happened to yeat

Heavenly background vocals/adlibs… gone. Cookie Monster/punch voice… gone. 4L/Up 2 Më type beats… gone. The old flow… gone.

And before people start with the “artists evolve” excuse, evolving doesn’t mean completely ditching the sound that made people care in the first place. 2021–2023 Yeat had something nobody else had. That weird futuristic sound was literally his identity.

Ever since BNYX and Zack Bia got too involved, everything started sounding way more polished and industry-made. Less raw, less weird, less Yeat. Feels like he traded uniqueness for a sound that appeals to more people, but ended up losing what made him stand out.

And don’t act like he had to switch either. He was still growing fast before all that. OG fans know the difference and know that’s just a coping mechanism.

2021-2023 Yeat > 2024-2026 Yeat and it’s really not close.

It's actually simple to understand what happened

It was a pure transition from darkness of LSV1 and 2093 to brightness and hopefulness in 3093, ADLV1 and the feeling of being alive in LSV2. His sound, themes, lyrics were nice and diverse. He still felt like himself and became more sober after 2093, as he said in the interview. He's been "sober" (never fully) since 2024, not damn 2025 or 2026 or whatever.

His music was good not because of drugs, but because he stayed distant from allat mainstream bs. He was just passionate about his craft and mostly did everything alone. 2093 didn't make him wipe his persona tf down, idk what happened after. He prolly got a taste of life and started caring less about the music, thinking that everything he makes still hits the same. Everything bout Yeat's music now is connected with that "big game/worldwide fame" bollocks. Yeat is a brand now. That's the reason why it's worse than before.

He shouldn't'v scrapped ANY of his projects. 2023-2024 period was truly goated; (everything people complain about in LSV2 comes down to bad tracklist execution)

Dangerous Summer is still good though and potential ADL of the first half of 2025 could be too.
