Hearing xperiment has made me realize how unbelievably clear Yeat's rage catalog (mainly 2021-2022) is over all other artists

Not even remotely close, he was putting shit into the music that just made it so much better, you can tell he actually really cared about what he was making. The creativity and innovation he brought into the space during this period is completely unmatched by any rage artist to this day. It was almost like a completely different type of music with how good he was making it.

Top 10 Unreleased songs from 2026 so far - HMs below

LYFESTYLE - Ratings and rankings of the LYFESTYLE deluxe songs that never saw streaming, and my favorite 5 unreleased songs from the era.

AVERAGE RATING: 8.5/10

Overall its no secret that LYFESTYLE was a very high potential era that suffered dearly from song selection. THEY TELL ME (V3), and FOR LYFE being a giant example.

This era of unreleased songs and deluxe's that never saw streaming contains some amazing work, that was unfortunately not put on the actual album. Even some of these songs though, as amazing as they are, suffer from being looped. FOR LYFE and BACK THEN are examples of songs with 10/10 potential, that are just missing something.

I do believe LYFESTYLE overall is highly underrated, and the songs that never saw streaming services are even more so underrated. In my opinion it was one of his best eras, but was just poorly executed overall.

If these songs replaced some of the weaker tracks off LYFESTYLE, it probably wouldve made it into my top 5 albums from him, maybe top 4 if the album overall was better executed.

Thoughts on the album, era, deluxes, unreleased catalog, exc?

Afterlyfë - A quick revised review of Yeat's most expiremental project

AVERAGE RATING: 8.3/10

All in my opinion as always.

Ive seen some of these songs (especially back up, slamm, and sum 2 do) in a much more positive light recently, and my rating of the album increased, so I figured id drop a really quick update on it and see what everyone thinks.

This bumps up Afterlyfë to my 4th highest rated Yeat album, and 8th highest rated Album ever.

Album rankings based on average rating

  1. DANGEROUS SUMMER - 8.6/10 (1)

  2. ADL - (8.5/10) (2)

  3. 2093 - 8.3/10 (3)

8. Afterlyfë - 8.3/10 (4)

Id love to hear everyones thoughts on the album itself, or on my rankings of the individual songs and album.

ADL era lyrics some some of yall clearly need to see

Its been a reoccuring theme that he wants to make music the way he wants to.

From saying no to people asking him to do certain things in GROWING PAINS

To stating he makes the music he wants, and other people don't in Purpose General

To saying everytime he takes a step back, (goes to an older sound) it hurts him

To claiming he is the only one of the recent generation of rappers changing the game at the moment

Its mind blowing that people try and claim he was "coerced" into making ADLv3, or that he is "switching up" on what he used to be, or has changed really at all. Its a weak argument with loads of proof to rebuttal it. Go back to older albums like alive, 4L, go to their leaks and such, and its painfully obvious that Yeat always had a goal to be a more artistic mix of singing, rapping, lyricism, and creativity.

Trying to say that isnt the case is just cope that he isnt making the same type of music over and over again like some of the other artists (that he clearly sneak dissed at in purpose general and up from here.) In the current rap game are doing.

Thoughts?

The Best and Worst Song Off of Each of Yeat's Major Projects

Keep in mind the ratings, just because I have a song at weakest doesnt mean I think its a bad song. Above 5 is a good song above average that I return to. Below 5 I think is a weak/bad song that I wouldnt want to return to.

I saw someone else do this, so I figured I'd make one too.

LKKT gets entirely carried by the amazing outro. If the outro wasnt there, it would probably be closer to a 0.7-1.4/10 range song.

Let me know any thoughts, what you would change, if you disagree, exc exc.

ADL was a huge net success for Yeat and his desired future - heres why

DISCLAIMER: THIS POST IS IN ZERO AND I REPEAT ZERO WAY MADE TO TRY AND SLANDER YEAT'S OLD MUSIC, SOUND, OR SAY THAT WAS WORSE THAN HIS CURRENT STUFF. IM JUST MAKING AN OBSERVATION BASED ON THE CREATIVE DIRECTION HE HAS TAKEN UP TO THIS POINT, I ADORE YEAT'S OLD MUSIC ASWELL.

Its no secret that ever since he found his groove, Yeat has had aspirations to be more than a rage artist. Tracks like cöming down from alive, trie 2 tell u outro on 4L, and all his work Lyfe-now, is proof of that.

All of Yeats big hits have been high energy typical rap songs, that would trend on tiktok and such and gain traction. From idgaf to money so big, this was always the case, until recently. (With a slight exeption of out the way, that song is pretty calm but still likley a subgenre of rage.)

The first groundbreaking change was with If we being real. That shifted Yeat's (unfortunate but real) presence online to the "aura." guy. As corny as it is and hurts me to write up, its true. This was a complete step in the right direction, but its clearly not what his main goal is. This shifted again slightly with DS, which scored a huge hit.

With Come n go being such a huge success, it was his first big hit that put a slower more melodic sound onto the mainstream map for him. Aswell as, smilarly but less so, rendezvous just recently. Even with that, his more artistic and melodic focused songs (all the way from killin em to growing pains from DS) have gone highly under the radar.

On ADL we saw an album from what most people knew as a typical rage artist, only feature 4-5 rage songs.

The lead hit from the album, being Back Home (top 2 off the album for me personally.) Arguably the least rage like song, on the entire tracklist. And its being used in full seriousness online, in anything from sad to happy edits on tiktok, to people just playing the song because its great.

To me, this seems like Yeat breaking out of a creative shell, that for so long he was attempting to break out of. The people who know this song no longer see yeat as some sort of joke, whether its from being the aura guy, to the incorrect "~slop rage" stereotype he had with the public before.

With this recognition for this song specifically, I expect more creative freedom from him in the future, even MORE so than we saw from 2093 and ADL.

I have no clue as to what his next move is, but if I had to guess, or if I was his manager, id say a combination of a short 4-6 song ep, with all but ONE of the songs being rage focused. The outro should retain a similar genre/vibe to back home, other than that full rage to appease the older diehard fans.

As for his next album, I believe it should be something extremely similar to ADL genre wise, but with an entirely different sound. (Something like an evolved ADLv1 sound, I would personally love to hear.)

Thoughts? Disagree, agree, have anything to add? Id love to hear everyones take on this, and what they would like to see next.

What's everyones personal top 5 artists?

With all the discussion and mixed reviews of ADL (and still remnants of it from anything posg 2023) im curious as to what everyones taste in music looks like.

Its clear Yeat is now making a slightly different type of music than what was being made in the infamous up2me-2alive run, and im curious how that affects reviews from his fanbase based on what type of music they like.

Even if Yeat isnt in your top 5, Id love to hear it

Dangerous House is Yeat's best work - ever. (WARNING: MY OPINION)

Before writing this off as a horrible opinion and sending some stupid reaction image or low effort reply, at least give the first few paragrpahs a read. Id hope all of this was more obvious to the average listener, but with the way ADL flew over the majority of this fanbases' heads, I dont think that is the case.

Its not my favorite song, in fact I dont even have it rated a 10/10. It doesnt fit my personal criteria for that, but it is the FIRST song I have next on my list once 10/10s stop.

Artistic, introspective, emotional, double sided, there are HUNDREDS of ways to describe this track. I could probably write a whole essay on every intricate detail that goes into this one that makes it a complete masterpiece.

A 2 part song, with an amazingly well done transition, followed by a beat drop and an explosion of emotion. Part 1 sees him singing/rapping along softly with the melody, with some of his best ever lyricism and metaphorical use on it. None of that changes after the beat switch, but its just turned up 100 notches. A static beat louder than he can scream, showing the shift from part 1. He goes from discussing, explaining, interacting, to then fighting, pleading, screaming, all to himself.

The lyricism is surprisingly double sided, while at first glance it may seem directed at a love interest. But theres much more to it than that.

Some lines absolutely are directed to love interests, especially in part 1. But lines where he uses the term "you" for example "you know whats coming ahead, yeah you know you feel it again, yeah thats why turn around and come back again, yeah you come inside a dangerous house again." This is repeated in the bridge connecting part 1 and 2.

Its a complete double entendre. Hes speaking to someone else, and himself. This gets amplified in part 2, which I interpret as virtually a look into his internal mental state, either now, before, or constantly. I wont list each individual lyric here, but from start to finish he is debating, screaming and emptying whatever baggage he has, at himself.

The sample itself, also holds extreme meaning throughout the song. The start of the intro with the sample does discuss love interest, but exactly like the song itself, that fades out at the start and never comes back. Repeated phrases like "are you" and "how it come so easy" both are emotional questions his subconscious seems to be asking him.

This once again loops into the yelling in part 2, as the bridge gets quieter, the questions get louder. "Are you?" "Are you?" The only way to shut them up is with MORE sound. Thus, Yeat's yelling. Yelling with constant confirmations, fighting with what the questions are alluding to. "The hell I made it out, I couldnt do it better."

"Never going back on anything im saying." "We gon keep it dangerous." All of these lines once again fighting with the internal voice and doubt.

This was very brief for how much I couldve wrote. I left loads out, for example the repeat and huge difference of the same type of line "~never going back on anything im saying" in part 1 vs 2, and more. But for the sake of it, I'll end here.

Overall this song is OUTRAGEOUSLY underappreciated, underrated, overhated, and straight up wrongly disrespected. Its absolutely Yeat's best work from an objective standpoint. Creativity, metaphorical use, cinematic progression, exc exc exc.

Id love to hear everyones thoughts on this song and album once they have given it a proper listen and understand it, or if they disagree with anything I said.

Im tired of the blind hate and disrespect put on this song and lots of ADL, please actually LISTEN to the music before spewing bs about it🤞most of yall listening but arent LISTENING and it shows.

Yeat Outros Ranked

OUTROS OF SONGS HE IS ON (INCLUDING FEATURES.) COLOR CODED BASED ON THE ALBUM IT IS FROM

Im only using dedicated outros - segments that were clearly dedicated to be a last part of the song. Some of the outros are features, but im doing this based on every song HE IS ON. A few dont even have him in it due to that.

Mollykup comes in first of course, that stretch of music might be Yeats best work ever sonically. Absolutely the best production he has had.

What would you change? Thoughts?

Yeat's Best Songs Ranked - Where All My Favorite Yeat Songs (including unreleased) Stand In My Ranking of Every 10/10 Song Ive Ever Listened To From All Artists.

ALL SONGS ARE 10/10

I currently have 84 songs from all artists ranked 10/10, 30 of those being Yeat. He is my favorite artist for a reason.

This list of 84 (so far) of course changes slightly here and there, but not much.

This is the order of all my favorite Yeat songs, and on the far right is where they stand in that list of 84 compared to the other tracks I have in there.

Remember ALL of these songs are rated 10/10, virtually perfectly executed tracks. I love all of these songs A LOT, anything being at the bottom of this list still means its at the very very top overall.

What are everyone's favorite Yeat songs? What would you change about my list? How many Yeat songs are in your top 10 favorite songs of all time? Id love to hear everyone's thoughts on this topic!

THEY TELL MË (V3) - Yeat's most outrageous example of poor song selection

Unlike other fire songs that didnt end up making tracklists, this song DID make the tracklist. Its almost like he heard this fire ass outro verse then just said "Yeah lets cut out the best part for fun."

Gained nothing from it, lost everything. Again it litterally made the tracklist, so its not like he didnt like it as much as a different song or something. Dude just wanted to cut out the best part for no reason. "Nah its too peak we gotta gatekeep this."

"~ADL lyrics are all sexual/it has poor lyricism" Meanwhile ADL contains some of his top lyrical performances

If you believe this even a little bit, please take the time to briefly scroll through some of these lines. They contain some of Yeat's best lyricism, next to 2093. People gotta stop saying ADL lyrics are ass when they arent.

This is only a few lines, there are loads more to dig into of similar or better quality. This was a small series of examples on 10 different tracks.

Please stop lying 😭🙏 ADL hate is so forced

"Old Yeat wasnt lyrical."

Some of his best and most creative bars are on his old songs, even if on average his new music has much higher lyrical quality than the old stuff in general. I love new Yeat, even more so then old Yeat for the most part, but it sucks to see people try and claim that old yeat was bad or "slop," when thats the opposite of whats true.

A DANGEROUS LYFE (ADLv1) - A brief review of Yeat's best era and what could've been his greatest album

AVERAGE RATING: 9.2/10

All my opinion, as always.

Im doing this based off of a custom ADL tracklist I made for myself, I picked my favorite ADL leaks and left off anything that I wouldnt put in my playlist, so of course its pretty curated to my liking. For the sake of my review, im reviewing this tracklist I put together as if it's what the released ADL would've looked like. Im aware a few songs might be other eras, but they arent confirmed, so I put them on here anyway.

This project would've been my 2nd highest rated album ever, and my highest rated Yeat project by a pretty large margin.

I personally have this as my favorite Yeat era, I just loved the sound, lyricism, production and more about most of the tracks. The height of what we have seen of this era in my opinion is the MOLLYKUP outro. Its by far the best production on any released or unreleased Yeat track ive ever heard in my opinion, and vocals at the start of it have me levitating everytime.

I fully believe that if this era got an album, and Yeat had really perfected this sound, it couldve by a very large margin been his best work. Im sad he went away from it before releasing a project with it.

My favorites were for sure HOT 2 THA TOUCH, Take Back, Backward, Dead2me, and Cant Get That. They all are in my top 15 unreleased yeat, with the top 3 making my top 10.

The outros on some of these songs are just phenomenal, mainly Crash Out, and MOLLYKUP. Including released and unreleased songs, both these are in my top 3 outros to a song from Yeat for sure, maybe in general too. Its really close.

Listening to the newer snippets that have came out, I am hopeful that his new sound post ADL might be a return to something similar to this. From the few snippets we have got it sounds like an evolved ADLv1, with elements from LSv1 aswell. Im very hopeful for his next album, whatever it may be. Im excited for MDM aswell later today🙏

The tracklist I based this off will be put below, I spent time when I made it to make sure that the intro, outro, interlude, and transitions/vibe switches were pretty on point.

Tracklist:

A DANGEROUS LYFE

  1. Dead Spirits ---- (Intro)

  2. Everywhere

  3. Mogul

  4. New View

  5. Dont Go

  6. SMDP

  7. DAMAGE

  8. Head First

  9. U Could

  10. Pulled In First

  11. Days Go By

  12. Crash Out

  1. Dead2Me ---- (Interlude)

  1. Heartlock

  2. No Y

  3. GODAMNIT

  4. Away From It

  5. Pullup Time

  6. Never Catch On

  7. BACKWARD

  8. Cant Get That

  9. Take Back

  10. MOLLYKUP

  11. HOT 2 THA TOUCH ---- (Outro)

Id love to hear everyones thoughts on what I said, or the era and its leaks in general.
