As you can see the ignition on my 2007 fz6 is a little wonky. I have to push the key back at an angle to even get it to turn, and once the ignition is on there’s nothing stopping it from just falling out. I’ve already lost a pair of keys as they popped out mid ride without me even realizing (tank bag kinda blocks my view of the ignition). Has anyone else had the same issue and know a fix? I’m thinking possibly a new set of pins and springs or a whole new cylinder. Are these viable paths or am I looking at changing the entire ignition assembly and possibly having to reprogram the ecu?
