I'm starting to leave PS2 hardware behind, my experience
I wanted to play Call of Duty 2 and 3 on my PlayStation 2 fat with an internal SSD, and well, my experience was terrible. Call of Duty 2: Big Red One is awful, practically unplayable, with horrible FPS drops and crashes when you're hit by 10 or more enemy soldiers. I couldn't even get past the second campaign because of the terrible FPS. Then, with Call of Duty 3, what can I say? The game has its occasional FPS drops, and thanks to the SSD, I barely have any loading times, but this game does get stuck or has massive FPS drops at certain points. In the end, I finished Call of Duty 2 on my Wii thanks to Nintendo, and Call of Duty 3 on the Wii. Playing on PS2 hardware is terrible, and don't even get me started on Killzone 1, which runs at 15 FPS almost all the time.
