Caught My First Speedy Spirit. Then My Houses Power Went Out.

Caught My First Speedy Spirit. Then My Houses Power Went Out.

I was having a grand time for the short lived moment of me catching a speedy spirit. Only two or so minutes later the power company had to do maintenance and the power was out for the next 2 hours. I also realized within that time I didn’t save my progress through area two. thought this was a funny occurrence that I should share.

Do I press this button? A poster over it said danger so I’m a bit reluctant. I don’t know what it does and was hoping for some insight

A Little Story About My Connection With Luigi's Mansion.

So I know I'm new here but I felt like sharing this and why I started playing Luigi's mansion.

---------

When I was around seven, I walked into the family room at my grandma’s house and saw my older brother playing on the GameCube. I asked him what he was playing, and he told me it was Luigi’s Mansion. It took him a while just to get through the first area.

I asked if I could watch, and for about a week that became our little routine — me sitting beside him every day while he played. I remember thinking, “This game is really cool.” I also remember that baby’s scream — I was half-asleep during that part, and it jolted me awake so hard that I stopped watching him play after that.

Now, about ten years later, I’m finally playing the game myself. It feels like I’m following in the footsteps of the brother I used to look up to so much. We’ve drifted apart since then, and maybe if things were different, this game would’ve brought us closer again. But even if it doesn’t, I’m just grateful I get to relive those memories — the ones that made that summer different.

Is this good for my first playthrough of Luigi's mansion so far? I just made it through area 1.

I was bored and remembered watching my older brother play Luigi's mansion 10 or so years ago so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm relatively new to everything and I made it through at 95 hearts left. I just don't really know how the scoring system works and I was hoping to get some info on if I did good.
