The heat’s officially coming in, so I’m wondering if you have any tips to share for our long-haired bundles of love?
I’ve already bought a cooling mat, have frozen kongs & lick mats and the pet store nearby offers ‘dog popsicles’ which I’m probably going to buy.
Any other ideas or suggestions?
We just got Tobi, our first dog, little over 3 weeks ago. He’s now 19 weeks old and doing great! He sleeps through the night, in his crate, although during the day his favourite place is to sleep on the floor close to my boyfriend or me. We’re now training him on leaving him alone in his crate for a few minutes while we’re outside.
My only question is, are there any tips on hygienic care for his booty? I’m thinking of trimming it myself in between grooms because rubbing his butt with baby wipes when it’s in his hair is just not ideal for all involved. But would you use scissors or hair clippers (one of those electrical trimmers).
