Whenever theres a case like this, what stands out to me if how easily this could have been prevented.
David could just not be a pedophile.
Just 1 of Davids friends could have went to the police.
Just 1 of Davids family members could have went to the police.
Just 1 of Celestes family members could have went to the police.

Jane (a pseudonym) says she first messaged Burke in summer 2022. Eventually, they were texting and calling each other regularly.
According to Jane, Burke, then 18, was often a caring and attentive friend, but could also be stern and, on a few occasions, unnerving. Once, Jane was joking with Burke about Itami, an evil, manga-style alter ego he’d created for his music videos, who would commit crimes that D4vd would have to solve. Jane joked that she could beat Itami in a karate fight. “David said I could never beat Itami in a fight,” she recalls. “He joked about him and Itami doing a violent act toward me, cutting my arms off. It was a joke, but it came out of nowhere.”
Burke ended their relationship in mid-2023, Jane claims, saying they weren’t at the same “maturity level” and different stages of life. “He was touring, he had a music career starting. I was in high school,” she recalls. Unbeknownst to Jane, Burke allegedly began his sexual relationship with Rivas Hernandez not long after. “I feel like she got the worst version of him. A different version,” Jane says. “It’s just really shocking and saddening.”
The man knows how to defend himself. Everybody work for him or his business D4VD ENT he possibly needed this tour to happen to catch up financially because he may have exhausted all of his resources at the time, remember he was just an artist his mother was over his finances from day one. He couldn’t really spend no big money without her permission she had to approve.. after they found their body. His numbers went up so more money came in.
It didn’t help that she threatened him again about exposing their secret relationship when somebody uses that type of information to get a reaction from you that’s the power that they hold over you to make you listen.

A judge has ruled that there is enough evidence for singer d4vd’s murder case to move forward to trial.
The decision came after a five-day preliminary hearing where prosecutors presented evidence in the case involving the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. d4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has pleaded not guilty to murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and mutilating human remains. He remains in custody without bail, and his next court hearing is scheduled for August 31.
