arti, simultaneously the most emotionally beautiful masterpiece I have ever experienced and the bane of my existence.

For this one, I started off thinking of doing the usual punk style arti, but after I made the head and chieftain mask, it gave me serious royalty vibes, so I put her in some formal wear instead. Also I added buttons to her top that are the same color as the pups, altho maybe it’s a little too subtle. I don’t think the clothes fit the Asian royalty theme i had in mind, but I like how she looks in a dress instead of a jacket and ripped jeans.

the symbol took me a while to decide. the first karma symbol, violence is definitely fitting, but she is also a mother and chieftain. however you can’t get those passages in her campaign, so I chose the outlaw. that’s what she is for the entirety of the playthrough. and once you get some echoes, this is the easiest one to get. (kill stab murder explode death blood murder!!!!!!!)

this is partially based on “the most slugpup moment ever” by Druid’s hollow on YouTube so make sure to watch that, I laughed so hard, I almost accidentally threw my own kid off a cliff.

one time i had an adult friend over and we played rain world for half an hour. it was her first time and i was explaining what powers the scugs have so she could pick one to play as. when she saw gourmand she said “so that one’s power is being fat?!” and I’m like “yea pretty much” lol

also added black pen to Hunter's eyes and I’m not gonna do that to the other scugs because I want hunter to have that ‘I know I’m gonna die’ sort of look in their eyes. *me being melodramatic here* and then I added the Hunter symbol because I’ll do that for all of them except monk cuz monk’s symbol is a boring circle. sorry for yapping so much :3

I decided to draw all the slugcats with fashion, starting with the vanilla 3! ( more like banana-vanilla, coconut-vanilla, and strawberry-vanilla) I feel like hunter’s posture is a little weird, but I think it’s pretty good for my first from-the-backside pov. Also I couldn’t fit the whole electric spear in the drawing. and i know I’m REALLY late for art month. still happy it’s done!!!
