Scuttle flies.
Hello 👋. Just looking for ANY set of tips here. I recently moved into a new apartment and have been having many issues regarding scuttle flies (phorid flies). Everyday there are at least 20 dead inside the fridge. Also many just flying around the apartment. I’ve tried apple cider vinegar traps, boiling water in ALL drains and even some formula for the drains. The traps (Zevo and cider) have caught a fair amount but not nearly enough as there are many roaming free. We keep all produce washed and inside the fridge, trash is taken out daily and no food is left out. Now i’ve seen some threads saying to check the fridge drip pan and while mine does look dirty (black sludge) I’m looking to see if there are any other things i should check as I clean that. I’ll provide pictures of what I’m looking at. Thanks in advance.
