I am really struggling with looking after my newborn and toddler who is constantly screaming and rolling around on the floor tantrumming alongside trying to make sure my newborn has as much breastmilk as possible and pumping every 3 hours. I have no support apart from my husband on his days off and when he is working hes at work for 13 hours a day and I am looking after them alone.
Initially I was exclusively breastfeeding however he was on the boob constantly and I found it difficult to do anything else on top of that when he got weighed although he put on weight he dropped two centiles. Due to that I resorted to pumping and bottle feeding. My goal was initially to provide newborn with as much breastmilk as possible as I am only pumping 3oz every 3 hours and he drinks around 4oz per feed so I supplement with some formula. Although I want to carry on I am thinking of giving up on pumping as it is so demanding and I have no support either but I also want to keep going as I know even 3oz per feed is super benificial for him.
Any thoughts/ advice would be appreciated.
