is this iron core or ferrite core?

my transmitter see's it as short circuit

i found a paper written schematic with 1W of rf power with 3 transistors

but i heavily reconstructed the schematic and it originally was BFR91 and replaced it with BFG591

there was also a final amplifier stage from the schematic and i removed it because of being rare unoptainable transistor

so how well will this function as RF Amplifier at VHF and UHF?

I'm curious that how far can 0.100w of RF power transmit at 470mHz and 60mHz to 300mHz also using a adjustable rabbit ear antenna

like MMIC or UHF RF Transistors or anything capable that i can salvage from?

most of them are completely unoptainable or extremely expensive to buy.

i'm looking for cheapest uhf capable transistor for my project. can someone list all of them down here?
