Was Egypt culturally more similar to the Near East/Middle East before ancient times?
Was/Is Ancient Egypt ( whether back then , now, or both) considered more similar to the Middle East than to Africa or was it considered similar to both ?

Given that what we know as modern archaeology was started and pioneered at this time , how did 19th and early 20th century Europeans reconcile these discoveries with the already-by-that-point belief that non-white people are biologically intellectually inferior (and possibly descend from different origins as species or sub-species) and not merely momentarily culturally lacking, and were therefore in need of the “superior” European for help in advancing as a civilization/society?
Maybe there’s an obvious answer/s but what are the factors / causes that make most shark attacks non-fatal , given how catastrophic their injuries can be ?
