I built DealProof to solve a very common and frustrating problem in India - informal deals between buyers and sellers that go wrong with zero recourse.
We've all been there. You buy something from someone on OLX or through a WhatsApp group. No receipt, no written agreement, nothing. Things go south and you're left with no proof the deal ever happened.
What DealProof does:
- Either party creates an agreement - title, terms, buyer/seller names and email IDs
- No sign in required!
- The creator verifies their email via OTP and is auto-accepted
- A shareable link is generated and automatically sent to the other party
- The second party opens the link, verifies their email via OTP, and accepts
- Once both parties accept, the agreement is legally binding under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Both parties can download a PDF copy of the signed agreement
No physical signatures required!
Why it's legally valid:
Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, a contract requires offer, acceptance, free consent, lawful consideration, and a lawful object. Physical signatures are NOT mandatory. OTP-verified mutual acceptance satisfies the consent requirement digitally.

DealProof started as an idea to verify users via phone number OTP, but every SMS gateway that offers this requires a paid subscription, so, I switched to email OTP verification instead, which works just as well for proving the concept.
A quick heads-up before you try it: there's no login system, so once you close the tab, you won't be able to find your agreement again unless you saved the shareable link. Make sure you copy it before closing.
This is a proof of concept, not a production app - but every single feature in it is fully functional. The OTP verification, the agreement flow, the PDF generation, the shareable links, all of it works exactly as intended.
