hey so I need some advice about taking CAD this summer. I withdrew from the class this past spring 2026 and I’m planning to retake it when I have more time to focus on it. Last semester I was enrolled in the Primary DL section, and on the first day Dr. Box mentioned that both the in-person and online students could choose to attend through Teams since he runs the online section at the same time as the in-person one and it's not an attendance mandatory class.
I’d really prefer to take CAD over the summer, but the Primary DL section is already full while the classroom section still has open seats. I’m also an international student and I had plans on going back home for the summer already.
For anyone who has taken the classroom section with Dr. Box before, is it actually necessary to be physically present in class, or were you able to complete the course fully online through Teams? I just want to make sure I wouldn’t run into attendance or possible in-person assignments if I register for the classroom section while being out of the country.
