SSS record issue (parent name error) — will it be a problem abroad?
Hi everyone,
I have an issue with my SSS record. My father’s first name was encoded incorrectly, and I also have friends who filled out their forms at the same time and ended up with the same issue.
I have already visited two different SSS branches, but they told me they currently cannot fix it because there is no option in their system to update secondary information at the moment. The system also seems unresponsive, and they weren’t able to make any changes.
I have also tried contacting usssaptayo@sss.gov.ph but have not received a resolution yet.
I’m worried about whether this kind of error could affect my future applications abroad (such as work or immigration processes). Has anyone experienced something similar? Will this cause problems later on, and is there any official way to have it corrected?
