Anyone in Chicago (or suburbs) looking to paddle together or know any good spots?
I plan on going to Montrose once or twice and maybe the Lincoln Park Lagoon? I’m a bit nervous about wind (Obviously I’ll check before I go and while on the water)
I am buying a new board in the next week and wondered if anyone received any emails or knows of any companies doing Memorial Day sales?
I know Isle is doing one, and I’ve been looking at their board for a bit, but curious if anything else if out there before I splurge!
I purchased a board off of FB and it has no D-Rings in the middle and I was hoping to attach a kayak seat. I’ve seen people using short beach chairs, but if I don’t want to use it the whole time I worry it would be in the way.
Has anyone use the Nozou straps or alternatives? I’m not worries about any drag unless it’s noticeable.
Otherwise I may attach D-Rings with some type of adhesive.
Any recs on the products or adhesives?
