For some context I was working at a factory that paid me 19 an hour. I have been out of a job since March 23rd and used all my savings/income to pay my bills and keep food in the house. I have been doordashing to be able to pay power, and water but I cannot pay rent (700) I’ve been intervening since I lost my job and nothing has come of it. I’ve interviewed at McDonalds, Hardee’s, tacobell, Panda Express, and a lot others. I need to find a job that is urgently hiring even if they treat me awfully. The job I did get won’t have me start until July so I need to cover my bills until then. Please help if anyone can, any advice, or suggestions would save me literally.

I feel like I have to be doordashing wrong. I started dashing in November of last year to December and was making roughly 50 in an hour. I got a job and stopped until more recently. I’ve done dashing in a few different areas the last two months and for the most part I’m just sitting there in the hotspot for an hour at a time and when I do get an order it’ll be 3 dollars for 9.2 miles. I have an 100% on time delivery rate, five star rating and am in silver but maybe I’m doing this door dash thing wrong?

More information if relevant: in the time I had this job I moved. Now I live in a small town that I have to drive 30 minutes to an hour to go anywhere. And the most money I made was driving an hour into my old town in which I made 25 in an hour.
