Unable to pick up at CVS
I'm a Roadie driver who also gets free delivery at CVS through their ExtraCare program. Because of this, I have found it worthwhile to have deliveries scheduled when I am about to get off work and deliver them myself. I work less than a mile away from my CVS. Been doing this for a couple years and never had a problem. The employees at CVS also know that I'm doing this. But now I have ran into a problem.
I went to pick up a prescription one day and when I went to scan the barcode and it said invalid. This resulted in me having to call and spend about 20 extra minutes in the store to get it straightened out. This happened a second time and I ended up just taking the prescription without pay.
Getting suspicious, I decided to test this and see if anybody else would have these problems with my orders. Two times the drivers canceled my order. I can only assume they're having the same problems I had. And One time after another driver canceled my order, I went up to pick it up myself and they told me the driver picked up four prescriptions total but for whatever reason canceled mine.
So my question is, is CVS doing something to sabotage my delivery? I don't believe it's a Roadie problem since other people's deliveries aren't having the same problem. And it hasn't affected my ability to deliver other people's orders.
