Roading using 47GB of storage on my iPhone. WTF

I got an alert that my iPhone was low on storage which caught me off guard. After looking into things I see Roadie is using 47.23 GB of storage, app version 2.139.1 (the latest, apparently). Anyone else seeing runaway storage usage on their phones? Last time I checked a couple months ago Roadie was using only a few gigs. For the life of me I can't figure out why it's now sucking up 47 GB of storage on my phone.

Home Depot orders

Yeah, HD is officially dead in my city, soo many orders and I haven't seen a good one. All of them are under half the milage. On top of that, most orders are routes.

Does this mean extra pay?

Sorry I’m new to this and these offers have been popping up recently. What does the price circled in red mean?

Should I?

Here's this order from walmart. It says that it's supposed to go to a near town that is 10 miles away, but the map location and distance shown says Murfreesboro. I've had a couple experiences with roadie where the address listed was incorrect and I've had the unicorn orders from spark where the address was so absurd you got paid for taking it and letting them know about the mistake. I'm just wondering, should I even risk this order for a possible easy payday?

My numbers over the last 3 weeks or so

Someone asked in another post, how much can an Uber driver make, driving full time. Since I couldn't add a pic to my comment, I thought I'd share my numbers as a separate post. These are over the last 3 weeks or so, since I started adding my daily sessions to my app. The numbers are obviously not brag-worthy but, rather, give a real sense of the type of money you can make, if you do this full time and cherry pick the offers.

The location is Houston, TX, and I drive Uber X.

Best BUY

You can make alot of money doing BB routes if you guys stop taking all the shitty orders. It's crazy how you people are working in the red. 102 mils for $56, over a four hour route. It doesn't matter the pay because they will do it anyway.

My account got deactivated for facial recognition failure

I accepted a gig yesterday like I normally do. I took a selfie to verify my identity and I walked to my truck. When I got inside and opened my phone to start my route, the app was stuck on my account profile and read “deactivated”. I was so confused and frustrated. I looked in my email for any info, and it stated that it detected facial recognition failure. Apparently they use a third party software to verify identity. I had already started the gig and everything.. smh I submitted an appeal and called customer service. They told me to wait to hear from the Trust and Safety Team. I have about 200+ deliveries under my belt, and rely on Roadie for extra income as I have a full time job M-F. Why would I try to purposely sabotage myself by putting another face in the selfie? Has anybody ever been through something like this?

Vehicle fitment is a joke!

You should see the gigs they’re calling a “tight fit” for a 2021 Jetta that would absolutely not fit. But blocking large qty orders that would fit. I’m literally spamming them with gig feedback on this. They’ve fucked themselves this time with this idiot move.

Vehicle fitment feature?

Well this might be the end of Roadie for me. This shit is jist getting to be too much nonsense for me....

Can't tell you how many gigs just like this I have done.....and now all of the sudden 4 stackable chairs and some cushions won't fit in a full size pick up?

AI lindsay

spoke with AI on the phone while not on a gig to catch her slipping.
looks like roadie does have favoritism and can shadow ban you from getting accepted to gigs. ive been offering on tons of XD gigs, only getting accepted to the shit ones that dont justify the pay vs mileage, time and weight. ive literally been sitting for a half hour in the middle of all the cvs in the area not getting accepted. clearly they have a way especially for those who complain too much. be careful out there, roadie is just like those shitty corporate managers that treat you like crap if you speak up to them.

Roadie actually making GOOD UPDATES????

I love the in app location directions & how they actually tell you if the item can fit in your car before you get the order. They are finally starting to look at their drivers and make things a bit easier

Stacking XD routes to make a decent one

So for the last few months, my warehouse has been giving XD routes that were just trash. Rarely anything over $100 and then they want you to make 60+ deliveries. One way around that is that I look for smaller routes that are going in the same area and just offer on all the ones that fit the criteria. Roadie assigns me a handful and it’s better than any single route they offer. I’m now daily getting over $200 from the warehouse for 30ish packages, which is what the routes should be anyway.
