Hi all. Our son will be traveling on a school trip in June from Dullas to China via Seoul. I do not have his exact seat or reservation number but can probably get that. The trip was booked through school and their travel program.

He’s a large 17 yr old and it’s a loonngggg flight. I do know he’s in an aisle seat at least and the lowest class which appears to be sold out of I try to book it myself. I’m trying to figure out if I can change or upgrade him with my Delta/Amex/Chase points or cash. If I can I’d also like to do it on my own without going through schools travel company or the chaperones. I’d tell them later.

Anyone know if what I want to accomplish is possible and the best way to do it?
