Hi! Ive purchased these white satin shoes for my upcoming wedding and want to get the fabric treated before I wear them.

I've called a couple cobblers and they have suggested I could do this myself with a scotchguard spray, or I could bring it in. I am concerned about discoloration.

Would anyone have any suggestions on if it's worth doing on my own or do I bring it in to a cobbler? If I were to do it my own, is there a protectant spray you would recommend?
