New to fasting
Hi all, I’ve done a few fasts in the past - the longest I’ve maintained a fasting approach was 9 days and I felt great! But day 9 I started to feel unwell and gave up.
I want to try again. 35(f). I’ve had 3 kids and I am seriously struggling with how I feel and how I look. I have a history of an eating disorder but now really only struggle with overeating all of the time. Fasting helped with that in the past.
Where do I start? Does fasting have to be keto? What’s an optimal fasting window? Can you tell me the pros and cons in relation to fasting? My head is foggy, I feel so flat and low and have moments of what feels like depression and anger. Will fasting help regulate my hormones a bit better?
