My husband and I finally agreed that a TV makes more sense than a projector for our covered patio, but now we’re stuck on the next argument: budget.

He thinks we should spend around $3,500 if we want something that will actually be worth having out there. I keep thinking that’s way too much for a covered patio and that we should be able to stay closer to $1,500.

It wouldn’t be in full direct sun all day. Mostly daytime sports, casual watching, and having people over.

If you’ve done an outdoor or covered patio TV setup, would you spend that much? Or is that overkill for this kind of space?
