I have a 2-month-and-1-week-old daughter, and ever since she was 3 weeks old, she’s been very fussy because of tummy troubles and gas, which keep her from sleeping well and leave her constantly tired.
She refuses to lie on her back in her crib sinc 3 weekds old, so my wife or I have to constantly rock her to sleep in our arms. I’m super stressed every day because my wife is home alone with her during the day while I’m at work, and sometimes she calls me crying because our daughter is tired and isn’t sleeping or is sleeping very little.
During the day, she only sleeps in 30- to 40-minute intervals. I don’t know what to do anymore; I cry in secret every day. Are there any dads here who’ve gone through the same thing? Everyone tells us it’s normal (pediatricians, etc.), but we’re exhausted.
