Hello ! My name is Sarah , I’m 34 years old &I am here to hopefully find some peace and comfort in a community who may be in similar situations as I am. I was diagnosed as a baby (1990) with polycystic kidney disease, (my mom has it & had a double kidney transplant, 6 years ago)but has now become end stage renal failure for me , and I’m now on a waiting list for a kidney transplant from a deceased person 🧍 or one from a living donor. Either way I’m grateful to be alive today & just live each day as best I can , it’s hard to explain the emptiness I feel when thinking about everything 😭being that it is so isolating & terrifying, I hope I can find it in me , to post my story to not only help pay for the medical supplies im not provided by the hospital/dyalisis clinic but to ultimately go to my sons savings account so when he’s grown up , he can have something to start out with , I’m really spiraling 🌀 over this diagnosis, & I wish I could just have a small community of people I can turn to just to TALK even , hope you have a wonderful day , Sarah .
