Prenup? 29M and 26F - 500k in total assets.

I am planning on getting married but want to know if it makes sense to do a prenup based on my assets? It’s weird asking this question about a prenup but with how the world is, I feel like more and more people are trying to have some form of protections. I really do love my girlfriend which makes asking this question feel even more weird. We have dreams of being in a nice house and have 2 kids in the next 3-4 years.

I plan to pay off my current house before the wedding which my S/o and I have talked about. This would be more so to save aggressively and buy the next house in a couple years that we would live in for 20+ years. The house was something I bought before dating her and then she moved in about a year after I purchased it (30 year mortgage and put a hefty down payment down because I was saving while living with my parents).

Having debt is a huge weight on my mind all the time. I have killed myself through my 20’s to get to this point financially. I have slogged through making minimal money to learn as much as I can and now I am reaping the benefits with a big salary. I’ve rarely taken more than 10 days off work every year (sometimes less than 6 days), and never work a normal 40 hour week (more like 45-50 hours). My girlfriend and I have a very large difference in pay.

Savings = $200k
Home equity = 173k
Retirement accounts = 170k
Cars = 30k

Annual income = 180-250k depending on how I do at my job (in sales).
