Why are some people on Reddit so unhinged?
Was just scrolling through a Reddit post from someone who honestly seemed pretty young, asking for some advice. Opened the comments and wow, some of them were just insanely insensitive. Some were throwing around random mental illness diagnoses and terminologies for the sibling with NO source or much evidence. Most cmnts were weirdly aggressive and clearly projecting their own experiences onto the situation.
One person in particular was being really unfair so someone simply pointed it out, then the person started accusing them of being manipulative and diagnosing them with personality disorders too?? 😭 I mean, I get it, Reddit is argumentative... but I also think some users are OVERLY comfortable considering that the age range on here is massive and half the time you genuinely have no idea who you’re speaking to. Some people are out here writing full essays tearing someone apart, meanwhile the person behind the screen could literally be a child. It’s actually crazy!
