Anyone get Schedule 1 running properly on GNOME with X11?
Trying to get Schedule 1 working on Linux under GNOME with X11 and wondering if anyone here has a setup that works reliably.
Current setup:
- OS: Zorin OS 17.3
- Kernel: 6.8.0-117-generic
- Desktop: GNOME 43.9
- WM: Mutter
- Session: X11
- CPU: Ryzen 5 4600G
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1650
Issue:
The game launches to a blank/black screen. I get music/audio, and there’s a weird Windows-XP-looking title bar at the top showing the game name, but no actual game window renders.
The cursor changes to the Schedule 1 cursor, but nothing is clickable and the screen stays black.
Things I already tried:
- different Proton versions
- Proton GE
- reinstalling shaders/prefixes
- forcing compatibility mode
- gamemode
- disabling overlays
Mainly looking for:
- Proton version that works
- launch options
- any GNOME/X11-specific fixes
