I know not all of the petals are in ideal shape, but for a novice indoor plant owner who seriously doubted she could keep orchid blooms alive (especially after the 4-hour car ride back from the wedding location), I’m pleasantly surprised at myself!

I am keeping them in a north-facing window (the tan wall you see in the second pic was just for the photo op), watering when the exposed roots look particularly gray (so maybe once a week), and either delicately misting the petals or giving them a VERY gentle wipe-down with a damp paper towel if they’re feeling dry/brittle.

EDIT: After a cursory search, I’m (crazily) just now realizing how expensive these must have been and how talented the florists who cultivated these are. If anyone has any more “advanced” tips to really keep these blooms going as long as they deserve, I’m all ears!
