I've actively been working for three years now to get more friends. And I gotten to know a lot of wonderful people. But they're aquiantances. For a myriad of reasons I just don't get close to anyone. A lack of time, mostly. But also the fact that most people I know don't live in the same city I do and that I work and live in different cities.

I'm so tired of not having anyone to call. Never having anyone to hang out with when I've got time off.

Most people keep saying I'm great. I'm kind, I'm helpful, I make them feel safe, I'm even funny on occasion. But despite that I just keep feeling isolated and alone. This week, it's especially bad.
