PAL to NTSC through DVD player?
So I've been collecting DVDs for a few months now (mostly old Disney releases), and while it's been really fun, something's starting to bother me more and more.
I'm from the UK, so as a result, the majority of my DVDs are in the PAL format, resulting in higher pitched audio and a small difference in speed. I'm able to slightly circumvent the former through lowering the pitch in the options, although it results in messier-sounding audio (which isn't always noticeable, but bothers me when I catch it).
My DVD player is region-free (for the few NTSC discs I have), so I'm wondering... could I somehow force my PAL DVDs to run at NTSC speed through the player? That might be a weird question (and potentially impossible), but it'd make my watching a whole lot easier.
