Wanted to write a FYI for anyone looking to build a barndo in Arkansas.
No matter the dealer you buy it through, if you’re building in Arkansas, your project will get sent to Arkansas Metal Structures as they are a manufacturer.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE BUILDING YOU ORDER.
AMS makes slight changes to cut corners. Their set up crew does not speak english.
We were sold and paid for a roof with a six inch overhang. It was on the final invoice. The barndo was erected with no overhang. A rep at AMS flatly called the sales person with Titan Metal Structures a liar. The framing was changed in such a dramatic way that it grossly affected our window placements and ability to build an attic. They shortened our building!
Despite numerous phone calls to speak with an engineer to confirm design and structure requirements every call was met with “that’s not my job”
Lastly, only until after it is erected, they say their building are not meant to be weather or vermin proof. ??? Why are you building barndos???
Buyer beware! We did our due diligence and got screwed.
