I’m planning to buy an S26 Ultra soon, and I have two options:

• UAE/Middle East version (512GB for a much better price)
• Indian version (256GB but officially local)

I’ll be moving to Germany for my master’s, so my main concern is long-term daily usage in Europe rather than just specs.

I wanted to ask people actually using the UAE/international variant outside the Middle East:

• Does Google Wallet tap-to-pay work properly in Germany/Europe?
• Any issues adding German bank cards like N26, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, etc.?
• Do banking apps work normally without Play Integrity/SafetyNet issues?
• Any OTA update delays or firmware-related annoyances?
• Any network/band problems in Europe?
• Is Samsung Pay completely unusable outside UAE?
• Would you personally buy the UAE version again for Europe use?

I don’t really care about call recording, but I do care about:

• NFC payments
• Banking apps
• Reliability
• Hassle-free long-term usage

Would appreciate real-world experiences from people using imported Samsung devices in Europe.
