Hey folks, I’m currently contemplating buying into the GFX system. For context, I do a lot of street / environmental portraiture and use the Leica Q3. I borrowed a friends GFX 50R and rented the GF 100mm a few weekends back and was blown away by the results. I did a portrait shoot for a friends daughter who’s graduating college. The same friend who allowed me to borrow the GFX 50R said he would sell me the body for 2k. I’m thinking I’m going to buy it, and a used 110mm to compliment the Q3. My question is, should I buy the 50R or are there drawbacks to a body that old? Should I spend a little more and get an upgraded model? Thanks in advance.
