Gfx100 combo with CZ 45 2.8

Hey everyone,
I’m looking into a super compact, high-character daily carry setup for a GFX 100 series body and I’ve been down a rabbit hole looking at the vintage Contax/Yashica (C/Y) Carl Zeiss 45mm f/2.8 Tessar pancake.
Standard Google image searches are a mess because everything gets cross-contaminated with the Contax 645 medium format version, so I wanted to ask actual users here.
For those of you who have adapted this specific full-frame C/Y pancake to the 102MP sensor:
1 How bad is the corner fall-off and vignetting wide open? I know it’s a full-frame lens being pushed past its image circle, but does it produce a hard mechanical vignette, or is it more of a heavy, stylized light fall-off?
2 How does the center sharpness hold up at 100MP? I've heard the Tessar design is sharp in the dead center but can get a bit dreamy or show some halation/glow at f/2.8 on the BSI sensor. Do you find you need to stop down to f/5.6 or f/8 to get a clean image across the frame?
3 If you've used it on both the GFX 50 and 100 series, did you notice a massive shift in rendering? Does the higher pixel density of the 100 series ruthlessly expose the lens flaws, or does it just give it a unique, hyper-detailed hybrid look?
If anyone has any uncompressed sample images, landscape shots, or street photos shot with this exact combo, I would love to see them. Also, let me know which adapter you're using (K&F, Fotodiox, etc.) and if you've run into any internal reflection issues.
Thanks in advance!

Pentax 105mm 2.4, Fuji GFX 50s

Was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the 105mm on a GFX body. This was just on a dumb adapter, one day I’ll afford the 0.71x 😭😭😭

1st photo might be f4 or 5.6
2nd and 3rd wide open

Where to buy GFX 100s II

Planning to pull the trigger soon to get a GFX 100s II, and the market makes no sense to me. Had been thinking I’d maybe pickup a used one (despite my recent failures with eBay), but prices fora used body only version on MPB is more expensive than a new one from Adorama and a few other sites. What in the world is going on with pricing for these cameras? If there’s no savings in buying a used one, I’d buy new, but that’s what everyone else would do too. Is there no place to actually buy one of these from an individual without paying more than new price?

Still frames from a SHORT FILM shot on Fujifilm GFX 50S

I recently shot a short film using the Fujifilm GFX 50S in medium format. Although it’s not a camera designed specifically for video work, I was genuinely surprised by the results.

Follow my channel if you’d like to see the final film once it’s finished:

Sara (GFX100RF, GFX100 II + 80mm F/1.7)

Some personal work with my friend Sara, raws processed in LR Classic using the Fuji Classic Neg color profile as a base. Lighting is 1x Zhiyun G300 as rim/background light, 1x Zhiyun X100RGB as main/hair light, 2x Neewer GC30C's as mains, some BTS images at the end of the gallery for a better idea of my lighting setup.

What are the horizontal lines in the background? GFX 100 II with Mamiya lens

I just got this camera to shoot more with my Mamiya lenses (film is so expensive now). I tried the Kipon 0.8x but got a blue/ purple spot in the middle with various lenses. This just regular metal non-electronic communication adapter seems to give a clean image.. but what are those lines in the out of focus trees about? Any ideas

GFX100RF + Ricoh GW4 WA adapter

This combo gives you about a ~25mm field of view, or 21mm in FF terms. Initial results seem better than good enough; maybe just a touch softer than the GF20-35mm f/4 but for sometime like me that barely uses that lens, I think it could be a more than adequate replacement.

Takes less than 30 seconds to mount even if you’ve got the hood + filter equipped, so not much worse than a lens change. Plus you don’t have an exposed sensor so it’s more ‘comfortable’ to do in wind/dust.

Questions around file storage

I had a general question around raw file storage, what do you do with these massive files, I tend to keep them but eventually I need to think of a better solution. Looking for insight from others in the group.

Kaufe nächste Woche ein 100s II Kit. Welche Linse als Ergänzung?

Hi!
