CHEM 261 course

Hey! I’m trying to switch my CHEM 261 section and was wondering if anyone with Prof. John Vederas for the lecture is also looking to switch.
I’m currently in:
• Prof. Wesley Chalifoux — 9:00–9:50 AM
• Lab: Thursday, 12:30–1:50 PM
If you’re interested, just lmk :)

I think i studying and preparing for exams wrong (university edition)

I started uni last year and I still feel like I haven’t figured out how to study properly compared to high school.
In high school I always had homework, assignments, quizzes, etc., so I always knew what I was supposed to be doing. But in uni I’ll come home after class and there’s literally nothing due, so I just… do nothing
Then when exams come around, I feel like I have no idea how I’m supposed to prepare or what I should’ve been doing the whole time.Like, what are you guys actually doing after lectures? Do you review your notes every day? Study a little bit every week? Do practice questions? Or just study when exams get closer?
I feel like I’m doing something wrong and I really need to figure this out Any advice would be appreciated!!

ENGL 103 profs uofa

Hi I’m taking ENGL 103 this fall and was wondering if anyone has had Amanda Daignault, Stephen Kenneth Webb, or Rachel Prusko. Who would u recommend?

I had Rachel for ENGL 102, and she was honestly amazing. I really wanted to take her again for ENGL 103, but I couldn’t get into her class. I heard it might be because her section starts with an F instead of an A or B but I’m not sure if that’s actually how it works.
If anyone knows why I can’t enroll or has any advice on getting into her section, I’d really appreciate it! Also, if you’ve had Amanda or Stephen, I’d love to hear what they were like. Thanks!
