chatgpt link in referencing
i find my sources my self very acquanited with articles, jstor, science direct, mdpi etc. but i left the link for a shit ass guardian article that has the chatgpt ending in my referencing.
not the biggest with ai but one thing i do find it useful for is seeing if i’m on th right track with the rubric. even though i’m not doing a heavy essay degree i do really like researching for essays and writing them. this time around ive accidentally included a singular ai link in my references list out of about 3 pages worth yeah i went overboard but i got engrossed. just one, it has that source= chatgpt. com thing at the end
is it worth emailing my uc and being like hey i use ai to check my work against the rubric and ive accidentally used a chat link but i have proof that i organically searched all these links including this one or what. pisses me off even more because it’s a fucking guardian article??? like idk what i copied or what but all my other links r the og.
this course is one of them that’s like innovate with ai yes do all this so maybe i’ll be fine but tf man, please leave opinions ai out the door im not super jazzed about the progression of it but i have a serious habit of genuinely waffling in my essays.
