Doll Identification Help Please
Hi! I just found this doll at my local goodwill, and am having trouble identifying her. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I suspect that she might be Sonali Matthew’s, but I also know she is pretty rare, so it seems unlikely. After doing my best at researching, I am still unsure. Her hair has obviously been but, but she has very dark, almost black hair, with some light brown highlights mixed in. She does not have a year printed on her american girl tag, however she does have a small tag as well, with the numbers “0169”. I saw somewhere that most Sonali dolls have the numbers “0099” but also saw that a look-a-like doll would have both numbers and letters.
If by some small chance this does happen to be Sonali, does anyone know if the American girl hospital still stocks her original head so I could restore her? Or would she return with the new Sonali mold?
