Why has penetrative sex suddenly started hurting my girlfriend?
Me (M21) and my girlfriend (21) have been dating for 3 years. At the beginning sex was easy and we could do it in many different positions pleasurably, but throughout the last year and a half most positions started to hurt her, so we have just been doing missionary because its the one that felt the best for her but even that has started to become uncomfortable.
I've googled around but havent found anything that could be the reason. Vaginismus seems too extreme for this case and it would not explain why during the first year nothing hurt. And dryness is also not the case because we always have plenty of foreplay, and I always go down on her till she has one or more orgasms before penetration.
So questions:
Does anybody have any idea of what we could try to fix this?
This is our first relationship for both of us, so is this just normal and sex always hurts women?
If sex does always hurt how do you manage it?
SideNotes: Me and my girlfriend are both average build and she is also pretty healthy. The oral sex is without fingers because that also hurts her
