AITA for being upset at my boss for last-minute class cancellations after I’ve already prepared and shown up?

I (F) work in a teaching/creative role where I run classes for kids. For the past 4–5 weeks, I’ve been experiencing ongoing issues with communication from my boss regarding what I’m supposed to teach.
Most weeks, I ask ahead of time what lesson I should prepare, but I often don’t get a response until the same morning as the class. Because of that, I’ve been forced to scramble last minute to prepare lessons on my own.
Today, I spent the entire morning trying to figure out what I was teaching and preparing a backup photography lesson since I still hadn’t heard from him. I got fully ready, drove to the location, and was expecting to teach. Then, about 40 minutes before the class, he told me it was canceled because he was on a flight and forgot to respond to me.
At that point, I had already invested significant time and effort into preparing and showing up. This has been a repeated pattern, and I felt extremely frustrated because my time kept being wasted and I’m not able to properly plan.
I expressed my frustration to him in a professional way, saying that the last-minute communication and cancellations have been an ongoing issue and that it’s affecting my ability to do my job well. I also mentioned that I appreciate his flexibility with my schedule, but I still need my time and work to be respected.
In response, he thanked me for the feedback, said he would cover the remaining prep, and also said he might remove me from an upcoming trip (in a different state) if there are concerns.
Now I’m feeling really irritated because I was trying to address a pattern so I can actually do my job properly. I haven’t responded since.
So, AITA for being upset and calling out the repeated last-minute cancellations and lack of communication?
