Help me find a great musical for my friend!
Hi everyone! So my friend is beyond obsessed with Epic the Musical. As a huge musical fan, I really want to get him into other shows! Only problem is I’ve showed him a few and he thought they were both… fine, but nothing to write home about. So I thought I would come here for help. Here is some info about everything he’s seen:
The Book of Mormon: liked this one more than NTN but still didn’t love it. Enjoyed the profanity within the humor. Didn’t like Elder Cunningham. Favorite songs were Hasa Diga Eebowai and Joseph Smith American Moses.
Epic the Musical: 100% obsessed with this one. Loved every, and I mean EVERY song. Favorite song is Dangerous by a smidge.
Next to Normal: he liked the plot and found it interesting, but didn’t like the music. His favorite songs were I’m Alive and Wish I Were Here, but even those were like a 6/10.
So I’m at a loss. What show should I show him next?
Also, he refuses to watch Hamilton. I could get him to watch it if I really tried, I suppose, but I would prefer not doing that. Thanks!
