Hear me out, PARRYs literally bring bosses to their knees when their qi/ stamina runs out. The lore in this game also implys to never bend your knees for tyrants. Which is why you can’t use goosy slide on God of avarice.

So the first ‘parry tutorial’ boss was the world puppet, who basically attacks in slow mo. Leading up to recently moon gazing maiden (chefs kiss 10/10 boss). And now recently snowplum requiem, a boss that literally will not go down without a parry. Thank God the last one is level locked because it’s still shocking how few care about parrying when I assist on coop 🤦‍♂️.

So my question is what is good PVE? So I understand we didn’t all play Elden ring and watch people beat Radan at level 1 to realize it’s patience over aggression. But good PVE is about replayability and opportunity, it’s using parry’s/ dodges to literally dominate your understanding of the bosses attacks and dictate the fight to your will. And no game does that better than WWM IMO. It’s not meant to be easy and there’s about 6 weapon sets to try out.

Latency and lag aside everyone should be parrying. When bosses use signature attacks time parry when the red glows and dodge when the yellow flash glows. Other than that glhf

The devs have really taken the ‘Heroes of the Four Seas’ PvP simulators to another level. As someone uninterested in PvP I’ve been having a blast. And that falling moon cutscene? WOW. Also considering a draw pull is one of the best rewards in game. I have to say the cut scenes, lore and execution of these has been great. I knew this 3rd region would hit closest to Qinghe but I’m really hoping the devs continue to expand on existing mechanics with more lore and fresh takes.

Trials are an insult to the tier 6 inner ways I grinded. So please tell me CN has a way to refight world bosses at your current level. It’s as easy as an interaction flag to refight them without the campaign nerfs.
