Is it feasible to leave large luggage in lockers at Pompeii’s train station lockers while visiting the ruins?

I am in a group of four people traveling to Italy in late September. I expect two of us carrying a checked bag plus a backpack. Myself and gf a carry on and backpack each. We are thinking on visiting Pompeii on our way to sorrento via train from Naples. (campania express).

Is it likely to find large enough lockers at the train station if we arrive early, Visit the ruins and then go back to the station to pick them up to go to sorrento?

Or should we go base ourselves in sorrento and backtrack? Or go to Pompeii and come back to Naples for an extra night?

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Can you distinguish a portrait taken on 45mm lens vs a 50mm?

I would like to add a compact prime lens to walk around with my R8 to compliment the rf 35 1.8 that I have. I really like 35 mm but sometimes I would like to swap to a more portrait friendly lens to take pictures of my partner or family for a few shots, and then either keep that lens on or swap back.

The rf 50mm is my strongest choice for its size and price (I am not a professional who sells pictures) and the allure of having the legendary nifty fifty as many photographers had to learn and practice.

However many people and reviews praise the 45 1.2 as one of the best things that canon has done in years, with an affordable, light weight 1.2 lens. This gives me the idea that the rf 50 might be obsolete if you can afford the 45. Yet there is the issue of the different fl. Is it enough to think about it? Is the upside of 1.2 enough to forget about that?

Lastly, another option would be the 85 2.0. Going full portrait mode and then switch back most of the time. Surely there must be some uses for it in street photography anyway?

What do you think?
