How is Ripley not floating away in this section? And why is there a damn elevator on a bridge in outer space?
Like what is this level design?
EDIT: Yes, I understand that the sevastapol uses artificial gravity. But if that's the case, why are there segments where Ripley needs to float towards it? Like when she gets ejected and floats towards the sevastopol or in the very beginning of the game when the thread gets cut. In neither case dies artificial gravity make her hover toward the ship.

Randomly died in the facility administration room
This is in level 7, at the part where I have to power up the android. Anyone know why this keeps happening?
