Hi all! I’m a 20-something wedding florist located in Utah. We have a slack group that is so amazing/helpful with all florists in the area. We share referrals when we’re booked, look for freelancers, and share helpful tips and tricks.
I recently freelanced for a woman who is a little older than me, but has only been in the industry for 3 years (I’ve been in it for 5) and I feel like she knew so much more than I do.
Am I not a real florist for not knowing everything? I also don’t feel like I’m a “real” florist because I haven’t done a million weddings. Is there some secret to getting clients that I’m missing?
