An Endless Campaign
I devote myself to an endless campaign; I throw myself into every battle I’m thrown into.
I push frail men on high horses into the mud, and pull shell-shocked warhorses out of foxholes. I crush defenses by leading primal charges, and bolster defenses of my own. I choose when to attack, defend, or retreat, but I know that surrender often results in enslavement.
Great warriors don’t expect to win every battle, and know their weaknesses. They also know their strengths.
Great warriors focus on sharpening their skill in battle; always preparing themselves diligently. They also breed strength with their comrades.
Great warriors can recover from crushing defeats, and are proud, but humble in their conquests. They also do not tire of battle; they find purpose in it. They love it.
No warrior, however, can outlive an endless campaign.
