I started tirzepatide three weeks ago at the suggestion of my LC specialist. I am currently at 3mg. I have lost 10 lbs but I am not noticing any improvement of symptoms. In fact I have been in a crash for most of that time.
How long did it take you to feel improvement? At what dose?
I am starting compounded tirzepatide for my long covid symptoms, but am excited that it will also help my weight and lipedema. My first shipment just arrived!

I am reading about injection sites, but I am wondering if lipedema affects medication absorption differently from regular fat. Is there anything I should consider or know before choosing an injection site? What site works best for you?

I read that, in general, the belly hurts the least and provides the most consistent medication absorption. Does that jive with your experience if you have abdominal nodules? I have just started developing lipedema in my belly in recent years with perimenopause. It's worse in my arms, thighs, and caboose.

Would love to hear any advice you have for a fellow lippie lady who's brand new to GLPs.

Also, mods: Would it make sense to add a GLP tag? I had trouble identifying an appropriate tag. GLPs probably aren't considered conservative, but they are a treatment.
