How to build endurance for hiking and how long would it take?

I’m going on a trip with some family pretty soon and we’re going to go on a hike.

It’ll be my first time hiking and I’m pretty sedentary. I’m happy to go on a walk, biking, whatever, but I’m also happy to relax.

As happy as I am to go on a hike, im worried about my endurance. I don’t wanna slow anyone down.

I’m a little different with going out in nature. I like taking my time and getting distracted with whatever.

My family is not like that and I’ll have to speed it up.

The trip is next month. I’m worried I might just be screwed but I still want to try to improve endurance + stamina however I can.

I know that usually takes months but give me anything to go off of here.

Gods to pray to for help with exercise and eating healthier

Very recently started my weight loss journey and as much as I want to lose weight, I’m struggling so bad already.

I’m on a calorie deficit diet and I know it’s okay to be hungry, it’s part of the process, but I am starving.

I’m also doing intermittent fasting and hiit so it’s just all a struggle.

I’m right at the start but still, I want the extra motivation and help eating smarter. I’m already counting calories but I still need to figure a lot out.

I’m also wondering if I could pray to Hermes for this too.

I already pray to him and offer libation for him for other reasons but I’m still curious if I can ask him for assistance too.

Around how many pounds can I lose per week with this plan?

First off, I am 18, 5’3, and 198lbs. Before anyone’s concerned since I’m obese, I feel great and I move perfectly fine. I just don’t look it.

Now, I’m going to add pretty much whatever little thing I want to put in my plan so please bear with me.

For a “diet” I’m going on a calorie deficit (from a little over 1900 to 1400) and i’ll be intermittent fasting (11AM-8PM).

For things I’m going to focus on eating, I’m really going to go for fiber rich foods and more protein (at least 40 grams of fiber per day and 120 grams of protein per day).

I really want to improve my gut health and I’ve seen that fiber helps a lot with that.

I’m going to drink warm water before anything I eat. I believe someone said it helps with digestion but it’s water either way.

I’m going to do my best to stay away from anything in a bag like chips and sweets but being realistic, we’ll see about that.

I’ll still be within my deficit either way.

For moving around, I’m sort of struggling with a plan there. I know I want to do hiit for 20-40 minutes a day at least three times a week and I do have a dog so I’ll be getting at least a 4k steps per day. I’m more so struggling on if I should do hiit in the morning after I eat or before. Or maybe even later in the day.

Same with the walks.

I know 4k steps per day isn’t the most but again, I’m being realistic since I’m fairly sedentary and so is my dog. At most, I do get close to 12k steps a day as long as my dog is up for it too.

If there’s anything I should add in for eating, please let me know. Also, I will take advice on times for hiit.

[portfolio] how many drawings does an artist need to have in their portfolio for you to commission them?

I’ve seen artists have as low as 3 drawings in their portfolio while others have 7+.

I have a few drawings I’m working on and I want to open commissions soon but I only have 3 that I really like. I just want to know if it’d be better to wait until I have more to show.

I can’t exactly word it right in the title so I’ll say exactly what I’m looking for here.
I’m hoping someone can point me in a direction of what to learn for jobs that align with my interests. Or training, or something I can learn online. Literally anything to help me get started.
First, I’ll start with my situation; I’m 18, no job experience, and I dropped out in my last year of middle school.

I like being hands-on and art. I draw a lot digitally and traditionally. I try out all mediums.
Im interested in learning things like baking, pottery, woodworking, gardening, and photography. Theres of course A LOT more but thats just to give you an idea of what into.
I really see nothing that goes along with what i like to do so I want to find kinds of jobs i maybe don’t even know about. All there seems to be in my head is retail and truck driving. Don’t get me wrong, those are good jobs! It’s just that almost everyone in my family has those jobs and I can’t think of anything else.
